Raising Black Men, Inc. (RBM) is a non-profit organization focused on uplifting, encouraging and mentoring young black men throughout the United States. RBM was borne out of the tragic circumstances resulting in the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer. This tragedy in the midst of a global pandemic shook the entire world. It also sparked necessary courageous conversations throughout all levels of our communities and beyond with the mandate that the time for change is now.

This moment in history demands that black men step up to mentor and guide our young black men. RBM is responding to the call to be an agent of change that will help transform young black men from endangerment to empowerment.

We’ve got a wide range of professional black men, from entrepreneurs, doctors, educators and corporate professionals, ready, willing and able to devote their time and energy to support and inspire young black men.

RBM will provide services that cater to the growth and development of young black men which include the promotion of education, financial literacy, and preparation for personal and professional success.

RBM will offer a supportive community to network, to learn and to develop the necessary skills to dream, plan, and live a life of purpose.
Since its inception, RBM has impacted black men between the ages 9-19 throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. At RBM we empower every young black man we encounter to dare to dream and to always affirm that:
